The Survivor Strong Strength training program will prescribe you a workout three days a week. While the workout calendar will show workouts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; you are free to do your workouts on any day of the week.
If you have been sedentary, we recommend that you try and work up to 90 minutes of moderate exercise a week. If you have been active, we recommend that you complete 150 minutes of moderate exercise (brisk walking) or 75 minutes of intense exercise (running) in addition to the strength training workouts prescribed in the Survivor Strong Program.

what is the cost of the Survivor Strong Volunteer Program?
The Survivor Strong Program is delivered through a best in class mobile application called TrainHeroic. Two payment options are available, $10 / Month or $100 / Year. No contracts, you can cancel your membership at anytime.
How many workouts are prescribed a week?
Three strength training workouts a week each averaging 30 minutes long.
What equipment is required?
Each exercise prescribed in this program will have two 'scaled' options available. One option will be a body weight exercise and a second option will be a weighted variation of that exercise. For weighted exercises, we recommend starting with a light weight like a bottle of water or soup can. For those with prior weight training experience, you can use a dumbbell or kettlebell.
What if I can't perform an exercise that's on the program or need a substitution?
Our coaching staff monitor the Survivor Strong Program Feed daily and are available to provide exercise substitutions, answer your questions, provide feedback and motivation! It is very common to ask for exercise substitutions when the exercise prescribed is too difficult.
Can I print my workout?
While we highly recommend using the TrainHeroic mobile app for the best overall experience and to track your progress; you can print your program and we'll provide you with step by step instructions for how to do so after sign up.
